23. UUMISSION SUPPLIES THEOLOGICAL LECTURES: SUMMARY

 

1) The urgent need in the mission field of financially poor countries is theological lectures. Most missionaries and churches in these mission fields are involved in establishing seminaries to train leaders and ministers; however, as a practical matter, this task is very difficult. There are not many qualified theological professors, and it is expensive to bring them to the mission fields. Hosting theologians and experts includes airfare, room and board, and often the employment of translators. All this puts a heavy financial burden on the missionary. Moreover, translation of lectures occupies more than half the time the theologian or expert is speaking.

 

2) UUMission is a mission organization that supplies theological lectures and liberal art classes for seminary, college, and pre-college. It provides cost-effective educational content that produces tremendous results for small investment. Thus, evangelists and ministers can give all their heart and strength to saving souls and expanding the Kingdom of God. UUMission is legally registered as a nonprofit organization in South Korea, and it is monitored by the National Tax Service.

 

3) Bread University is the online or video platform and group study of theological education of UUMission. In a ubiquitous way, without limitation of time and place, it provides theological lectures and a pre-seminary education for college and high school free of charge to missionaries, churches, and seminaries in financially poor countries. In this way, we can send hundreds of theologians and experts to various regions at the same time as missionaries.

 

4) UUMission-Bread University develops the global evangelism and soul-saving mission movement. We find souls seized by the ruler of this dark world and tell them the Way (Jesus Christ) to enter the Kingdom of God. The innovations of IT development enable Christians to overcome the crisis of the downfall and decline of Christianity in various places around the globe. The newly launched platform of theological education is the breakthrough needed to resolve the crisis of a decrease in the growth of Christianity in certain places on Earth.

 

5) Theological lectures are provided in Chinese, English, Spanish and Korean. In other languages, the lecturer will be dubbed. Excellently produced video lectures, texts, challenging questions, and cogent answers are offered on the Internet. They also are transported by USB, External Hard Drive or any appropriate device for regions which persecute Christianity.

 

6) Bread University supplies theological lectures toward the Master of Divinity degree. It also offers bachelor degrees in philosophy and humanities as preparation for theological education. Considering that applicants in financially poor countries do not have easy access to a basic education, we also provide lectures to achieve a pre-college program offering a diploma or certificate.

 

7) Missionaries and pastors in mission fields gather students and guide them with Bread University lectures and discussion. Human discourse will develop the students’ intelligence, spirituality, maturity, and integrity.

 

8) UUMission trains faithful evangelist, minister, preacher of Word of God according to the creative Reformed Tradition. They will find lost souls, revive churches, and transform believers’ lives. Bread University educates young people as evangelists, whose preaching is heard as God's voice, and pastors who move in the fullness of the Holy Spirit. We train men and women to move in the miracle power of God, and many people respond by believing in Jesus Christ.
