13. CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR PASTORS
The majority of pastors in mission fields need extensive education or re-training. Many ministers in Asia, Africa, and South America are appointed as pastors without enough theological education. Missionaries or churches in mission fields can’t afford continuing education for pastors due to the high cost. It is difficult for them to continuously pay for visiting theologians and their interpreters.
